I didn’t suggest you to visit Borovets for ski. Visit it in the summer. The air is crystal. The price for nights in hotel are cheap and you can relax with you family.
My favorite part of the day in Borovets is to drink coffee on the veranda of the hotel. I can just sit and watch forest and to breathing miracle air.
After strong breakfast and the relax coffee I'll suggest you to go to the lift Yastrebets. That is so easy way to go on the top of the mountain with your family.
The view from the top can stop you breathing. It's so beautiful. You can see Samokov from the top. To watch blue sky and so crystal clouds. The name of the hut on the lift stop is Yastrebets. Yastreb is bulgarian word for hawk. May be because only this beautiful bird can fly so high.
Take with you some snaks and water because the hut probably doesn't work. Don't forget to take with you thrush and to keep nature clean.
